I have lived by the mantra that if it moves, thinks about moving or looks like it could move then it should be eaten. Period. I feel bad for poor James since he cannot enjoy the food he so dearly loves. If that ever happens to me I hope someone will have me put to sleep.

I just found a new idea today after emptying a large bottle of creamer. I saved the bottle to make a snowman, like I had done many times before but today, I decided to cut a flap in the back and place a small string of Christmas lights inside. How festive and yet, elegant! And I had also gotten the idea to try to make a light up ghost for Halloween. I havent tried that yet, but I will in the next couple of days.
But, here is the twist. When I took this bottle I had saved today and washed it and took the label off, I seen that this bottle was clear. Not white, as most are. So I pondered, what to do now.
Then it hit me! I know some people use these creamer snowmen to use as a candy dispenser, but using a clear one with Christmasy colored candies would be even better. How adorable! I even toyed with the idea of putting a string of clear lights inside it, too. The strings that have the white wire. I think this would make a classy, yet fun addition to any home.
Just keep ideas open and experiment! Would love to hear from anyone who tries these ideas and would love to hear of any other ideas!
Have fun, and enjoy the Holidays all year!

I really love it when I use it with my iPhone. I quit my car's satellite radio last month, and this is a great substitute.

Pandora only works if you aren't a Music Fiend or are out of touch with music today. For music geeks, writers, and critics, pandora is a terrible tool with no real data or relevance

You definitely want to follow the proper complaint steps if you want anything done once you get to the top of the chain. You must first express your complaint or problem to the principal (which you have done), since you are not happy with his explanation and don't feel that anything is solved, then you go to the superintendent. If he's like the one I've had to deal with, he won't do anything, but report back to the principal about your complaint. So, you give him about a day to get back to you. When you don't hear from him, then you write a letter or make a phone call to every single member of the school board. Make sure you tell them that you've expressed your concerns to both the principal and the superintendent and nothing has changed or phone calls were not returned. Whatever. To take it a step further, try to rally a group of parents to do the same thing. One parent may not make a difference, but if the school board starts receiving letters and phone calls from 10-20 parents or more, then the light bulb may finally click on and they may realize that they do have a real problem on their hands. Also, at the same time, consider writing a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Nothing gets the word out like mass media!! I'm sorry that you've, and all these other parents, have had problems like these. My children are not even school age, and I am a former public school teacher, and we have already decided that they will not attend public school. The oldest is already enrolled in private preschool for 2010. It's sad that you really pay for the public schools, but you don't feel secure enough to send your children there.
